Using Jutsu

Casting

1. Open the menu (C) and go to Jutsu. Put the jutsu you want into your jutsu slots.
2. Press V to turn on Jutsu Mode.
3. Press hotbar keys 1-9 to cast the jutsu in those slots. You can also scroll to a slot with the mouse wheel and right-click to cast it. Press V again to get your normal hotbar back.

You have two pages of jutsu slots. In Jutsu Mode, press TAB to switch between them.

Dojutsu jutsu and mode jutsu (Susano'o, tailed beast form, etc.) can also go on their own cast keys. Set them in Options > Controls.

Chakra & cooldowns

• Every jutsu costs chakra and has a cooldown.
• Your Chakra Control stat changes the cost: 0 Control = 1.5x, high Control = down to 0.6x.
• Your Ninjutsu stat makes jutsu hit harder and grow bigger. Your Genjutsu stat makes genjutsu last longer.
• Out of chakra? Charge it back up. You can't move while charging, and it fills the bar in about 15 seconds.

Jutsu ranks

Jutsu are ranked D, C, B, A, S. Higher ranks hit harder, cost more and have longer cooldowns.

Genjutsu

Most genjutsu need the target to look at you. If they're looking away, the jutsu doesn't go off, you get no cooldown and your chakra back, and you get a message telling you they aren't looking at you. Your Genjutsu stat also lowers how long enemy genjutsu last on you (up to -40%).

Jutsu menu categories

• Releases: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning and Kekkei Genkai.
• Clans: your clan jutsu.
• Dojutsu: Sharingan, Byakugan, Rinnegan, Mangekyou, Ketsuryugan.
• Extras: Medical Ninjutsu, Eight Gates taijutsu and Kenjutsu.
