Byakugan & Tenseigan
Byakugan
360° vision, and you see the chakra network of every living thing. All its jutsu are Gentle Fist taijutsu that seal enemy tenketsu (see Combat Basics).
Getting it
- Hyuga clan: usable from day one.
- Otsutsuki clan: 70% chance, already at level 3.
- DNA Lab: the Hyuga bloodline (very rare).
These are the only ways. The Byakugan Eyes from the Tenseigan trial don't give you the Byakugan.
A Byakugan is never dormant: you can turn it on (G) as soon as you have it. It levels up from time active.
Levels
| Level | Needs | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Getting it | Juken: Gentle Fist, Hakke Kusho: Air Palm |
| 2 | 6h active | Hakke Sanjuu Niso: 32 Palms, Hakkesho Kaiten: Rotation |
| 3 | 16h active | Hakke Rokujuu Yonsho: 64 Palms, Hakke Kuuhekisho: Vacuum Wall, Gentle Step: Twin Lion Fist |
Gentle Step: Twin Lion Fist wraps your hands in lion-head chakra (a transformation, A-rank, 90 chakra, 1 min cooldown).
Tenseigan Chakra Mode
The Byakugan's transformation.
- Look: your body is wrapped in a mint chakra avatar (robe, burning sleeves and hem), with the Tenseigan in both eyes.
- Requirements: you need the Byakugan, and it needs 96 hours of use.
- Unlock: enter the Tenseigan trial (Byakugan wielders only, level 700+) and implant two Byakugan Eyes from Toneri (see Eye Trials). Right-click an eye to implant it. The first gives 1/2, and the second awakens the Tenseigan. Before your 96 hours, the eyes do nothing.
- Activate: turn on your Byakugan (G), then press Ctrl + G.
