Training & Unlocking Jutsu
Each release has a training path: an ordered list of jutsu from D-rank up to S-rank.
How it works
- When you unlock a release you get its starter jutsu for free, so you always have something to train with.
- Your next jutsu needs a set of training objectives. Each objective is a specific action done with that release's jutsu, a set number of times. Your progress shows in the Training menu.
- When every objective is done, the jutsu unlocks and the next one starts.
- Kills count on anything: players, mobs and the NPCs placed in the world.
What each release trains

Techniques you can't train
Some legendary techniques are never part of a training path.

Other ways to learn jutsu
- Dojutsu jutsu unlock as your eye levels up (see Dojutsus).
- Medical Ninjutsu unlock from your Medical stat.
- Eight Gates taijutsu unlock from your Taijutsu stat and open gates.
- Kenjutsu techniques unlock from your Kenjutsu stat (see Weapons & Kenjutsu).
- Clan jutsu come with your clan.
