Getting Started

Welcome to Shinobi Realm. We made this mod ourselves for our own server, so everything on this wiki is about how our server works.

Joining the server

Download the launcher from the Download section of the home page (Windows and macOS).
Sign in once with your Microsoft account.
The launcher installs Java, Fabric and the modpack, keeps them updated, and connects you to the server.

Your first minutes

You spawn straight into the Story Mode world. Open the world map any time with /hub.
You roll your clan. The first time you join, the clan roll screen opens. Your clan is random and some are much rarer than others (see Clans). It decides your clan jutsu, your passives, and sometimes a nature, a stat bonus, a dojutsu or some starting gear.
You get your chakra natures. You're born with one random basic nature (Fire, Water, Earth, Wind or Lightning), plus any nature your clan gives you. The others unlock as you level up (see Chakra Natures).
You get a starter kit: 5 kunai, 8 shuriken, food and 3 green chakra pills.
Do the starter questline: Jiraiya's Training. It teaches you the basics and gives you your first jutsu. At the end you choose your Ninja Path, Naruto or Sasuke. The choice is final.

Do this first if you have a dojutsu

The mod draws eyes like the Sharingan or Byakugan on top of your skin. If they look off on your face (your skin's own eyes showing through, the eyes too high or too low), type /sreyes and fix it in a few seconds. See Fixing Your Eyes (/sreyes).

How you get stronger

Level up from quests, missions, bosses, dungeons and fights. Every level gives 5 stat points (see Stats & Leveling).
Train your jutsu. Using a release unlocks its next jutsu (see Training & Unlocking Jutsu).
Do the jutsu questlines for the big signature techniques: Rasengan, Chidori, Sharingan Copy, Rasenshuriken, Kirin, the 7th and 8th Gates, Wood Golem, Light Fang, Tengai Shinsei and the Thousand Hands (see Quests).
Awaken your power: dojutsu, Eight Gates, Sage Mode, Susano'o, tailed beasts and more (see the Dojutsu and Transformations tabs).
Pick up a blade. Your Kenjutsu stat powers your weapons and unlocks sword techniques (see Weapons & Kenjutsu).

The menu

Press C to open the main menu. From there you reach your stats, jutsu, jutsu slots, dojutsu, modes, tailed beast, quests, cosmetics (and the Amethyst Store), battle pass and the social menu (friends, party and organization).
